Surge protectors are often used for the amount of plug space they provide. They turn your regular outlet into an extended outlet that can give power to three or more devices at once. Chances are if you have an ethernet cable these days then you are completely aware of what it is and what it does. Wireless internet is so popular now that most people don’t use these cables unless they need it to boost their signal for purposes like streaming.
